Fifth-Ranked Argonauts Record Fourth Straight Shutout

PENSACOLA, Fla. - West Florida only lost two games in singles en route to a 9-0 shutout over Dallas Baptist Tuesday afternoon at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex. West Florida (8-4) posted their fourth consecutive shutout while winning their sixth straight. Dallas Baptist (2-8) suffered their eighth consecutive loss.

After winning convincingly in doubles, four Argonauts did not lose a game in winning their singles matches. Tammy Kevey (Auckland, New Zealand/Auckland Univ.) became the first Argonaut singles player to 10 wins with her victory. She also teamed with partner Mandy Septoe to improve the number one doubles record to 10-3.

West Florida will have a week off before they begin their Spring Break trip in San Diego, Calif. West Florida will face Metro State next Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. PST.
