West Florida Men's and Women's Tennis Rained Out

TIFTON, Ga. – The West Florida men’s and women’s tennis teams’ scheduled matches against defending NCAA Division II national champion Armstrong Atlantic were rained out on Saturday.  The two programs were set to face each other in neutral site matches at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and they were on the courts warming up when the rain came through Tifton.

The No. 9 men’s team (1-0, 1-0 GSC) will return home to the Ralph “Skeeter” Carson Tennis Complex to face top-ranked NAIA opponent Auburn Montgomery (2-0) on Thursday, February 19 at 1:00 pm.

The No. 6 West Florida women’s team (1-0, 1-0 GSC) be back in action on Friday, February 27, facing Southwest Baptist at 9:00 am on the campus of Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, Ark.
