MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of West Florida men’s soccer team earns four Daktronics NCAA Division II All-South Region Second Team selections as announced Tuesday afternoon by Daktronics. Nikola Kljaic, Stephen Munoz, Paul Willoughby and Richard Dixon all earn their first career Daktronics All-South Region nod for the Argos.

Kljaic, one of the top defenders for the Argos and a Gulf South Conference First Team Selection, was the lone Argonaut defender on the All-South Region Squad. In a breakout junior season, the Zagreb, Croatia native started every match for the Argos and earned consecutive GSC Defender of the Week awards back in September.

Offensively this season the Argos were led by Munoz who put up a team high nine goals, six assists and 24 points. In the GSC Tournament he netted three goals in two matches to help the Argos claim their fourth consecutive GSC Championship.

Willoughby and GSC Player of the Year Richard Dixon earn selections as midfielders for the Second Team to close out the Argos selections. Willoughby a GSC First Team selection finished the season second on the team in goals (8) assists (4) and points (20). Dixon rounds out the selections for the Argos as he takes home his first career Daktronics honor in his sophomore season.
