Argos Ranked No. 2 in CBN National Poll

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The West Florida baseball ranks No. 2 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National poll, it was announced on Monday. The Argonauts are 10-2 overall and are fresh off a big win, 13-1, over Barry at the Holiday Inn Classic hosted by Valdosta State.
West Florida slipped from No. 1 to No. 2 in the CBN poll with 456 points tied Central Missouri, who climbs from No. 3 last week. Undefeated Tampa sits atop the rankings with 480 points, jumping from No. 2 last week.
The Argos also climbed from No. 9 to No. 4 in the College Baseball Lineup rankings and fell one spot from No. 6 to No. 7 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association rankings. The NCBWA also keeps the Argos at No. 2 in the South Region rankings with 76 points.
