Argos Stay in National Rankings

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The West Florida baseball team dropped from No. 2 to No. 7 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, it was announced by the CBN on Monday. The Argonauts are 15-6 overall this season and are 2-3 in Gulf South Conference play.
UWF ranks No. 7 in the CBN poll grabbing 362 points. Claiming the No. 1 spot this week was Tampa, climbing from No. 2 with 474 points.
The Argos also rank No. 8 in the College Baseball Lineup rankings and fell from No. 6 to No. 18 with 132 points in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll. The NCBWA also ranks UWF No. 4 in the south region, falling from No. 2, with 60 points.
