Sevillano Posts Top 10 Finish

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The West Florida women’s golf team finished the final round at the Agnes McAmis Memorial hosted by No. 24 Tusculum on Tuesday, and the Argonauts (316-317 - 633) placed sixth at 57-over par. Tusculum (291-302 - 593) took the team title, shooting 17-over par.

Lincoln Memorial (298-306-604) placed second, shooting 28-over par. Lander (302-304-606) placed third, just two strokes behind LMU.

Freshman Camila Sevillano (Cali, Colombia/La Arboleda) was the Argonauts’ top finisher, placing eighth at 5-over par (71-78 - 149). Freshman Aimee Paterson (Sherfield on Loddon, England/Queen Mary's) finished 31st at 14-over (78-80 - 158). Senior Jenny Lines (Birmingham, Ala./Spring Hill) was the team’s next finisher at 44th (82-80 - 162) at 18-over par, and junior Agustina Cocha (Salta, Argentina/Colegio Santa Maria) finished 51st, just two strokes behind Lines (85-79 - 164) at 20-over par.

Tusculum also had the top individual, as Jillian Corum (70-71 - 141) shot an outstanding 3-under par. Rachel Uremovisch of Lander finished second (69-74 - 143) at 1-under par. Kimesha Anthony of CSU (72-72 - 144) finished third at even par.
