Bryson, Larry Named to GSC All-Tournament Team

ROME, Ga. – Drew Bryson (Cullman, Ala./Wallace State-Hanceville CC (Cullman HS) and Taye Larry (Panama City, Fla./Wallace State CC-Dothan (Mosley HS) of the West Florida baseball team were named to the Gulf South Conference All-Tournament team, it was announced by the GSC on Tuesday afternoon.
Bryson was named to the GSC All-Tournament team as a starting pitcher. In round two of the tournament, he hurled a complete game shutout to lead the Argonauts to a 2-0 victory over West Alabama. Bryson allowed just six hits while striking out four to grab his fourth win of the season.
Larry led West Florida offensively in the tournament batting .357 with a .471 on-base percentage, earning a spot as an outfielder on the GSC All-Tournament team. He scored three runs, drove in two and tallied a double, triple and home run while drawing three free passes. Larry highlighted his tournament going 2-4 with two runs, two RBIs, a double and a home run in West Florida’s loss to Delta State.
