UWF cross country gears up for fourth annual 5k event

PENSACOLA, Fla.  – The University of West Florida cross country programs will play host to the fourth annual Argonaut 5k on August 18 at 7 a.m. The race will start and end at the track at the UWF Soccer Complex and will be run on a road and trail course.

The money raised for the race will directly benefit the men’s and women’s cross country programs at the University of West Florida. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female along with the top masters male and female. The top three finishers in a wide range of age groups will also receive awards.

To sign up for the race you can register at the UWF athletics office or at Running Wild in Pensacola, Fla. You can also download the registration form and mail it to UWF Cross Country at the address listed on the form.
