GAME NOTES: Argos wrap up regular season on the road
UWF to play West Georgia in a nonconference match Friday before taking on Valdosta State in the regular season finale

PENSACOLA, Fla. - The West Florida Argonauts will finish the regular season on the road this weekend with a match against West Georgia Friday at 7 p.m. ET and a match against Valdosta State Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET.
UWF moved up to No. 3 in the nation in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tires poll and maintained their No. 1 rankings in the NSCAA and the NCAA South Region rankings.
UWF is 10-0-0 against UWG all-time and has shut out the Wolves in their last two meetings. Earlier this season, UWF defeated UWG 4-0 in Pensacola on Oct. 12 in a GSC match. Friday’s game is a nonconference match.
The Argos are 2-0-1 against VSU all-time. UWF won the first-ever meeting between the two teams last season 5-0 on Oct. 2. In the GSC semifinals, the Argos tied the Blazers 2-2 during regulation before losing 5-3 on penalty kicks. This season, UWF defeated VSU 1-0 at home on Oct. 14 in a nonconference match. Sunday’s game will be a GSC match and the Argos’ final game of the season.
