Argonauts Finish Sixth at NCAA National Tournament

DeLAND, FLA. - West Florida ended their seventh NCAA Division II National Tournament this afternoon with a sixth place finish at Victoria Hills Golf Course in a field of 18 teams and 12 individual competitors.

South Carolina-Aiken passed No. 1 ranked Chico State for the national championship. USC-Aiken shot a team score of 1191 (+39) in four rounds, and CSU had 1200 strokes (+48). West Florida finished with a team score of 1216 (+64).

Fredrik Lundberg and Adam Nevile led the UWF effort in a tie at 27th. Lundberg had a total score of 305 (+17). His four round scores were 76, 79, 73 and 77. Neville shot rounds of 76, 79, 73 and 77. Will Grace tied at 44th with a total of 308 strokes (+20). He shot 78, 84, par 72 and 74. He was accompanied by teammate Andrea Signor at 44th. Signor shot 73, 73, 81 and 81. The Argonauts' fifth man was Matthew Berzovich in a tie at 72nd. He had scores of 80, 79, 77 and 80 for a total of 316 strokes (+28).

The Argonauts went into the tournament with a Golfstat Head-to-Head ranking of No. 2.
