Cross Country Coach Earns Disney Marathon Honors
ORLANDO,
FLA. - The West Florida men's cross country head coach proved again this
morning that he is not just an instructor, but a performer as well. Coach
Matt Dobson won the 2003 Disney 10K Classic this morning among approximately
2,000 participants.
Dobson led his UWF team to a fifth place finish among 28 teams in the Disney World Cross Country Classic yesterday. Today, he dominated marathon competition with a time of 33:22. The race's second place finisher posted a time of 35:03.
The "practice what you preach" coach takes his Argonauts to Valdosta State's Blazer Classic next weekend.
