ARGONAUT WEEKLY: WEEK 30 RECAP

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The West Florida baseball team took both games from mid-week opponent North Georgia and took
2-3 against Gulf South Conference opponent West Alabama over the weekend. The Softball team continued conference
play taking both games from West Georgia but falling to top ranked Valdosta State in a double header. The men’s and
women’s tennis teams picked up wins on the road at GSC opponent New Orleans.

Drew Bryson

Baseball

Drew Bryson (Cullman, Ala./Wallace State-Hanceville CC (Cullman HS) was one out away from a complete game shutout
on Sunday against GSC opponent West Alabama before allowing a run on a wild pitch. Bryson would finish the game out
allowing one run on nine hits while fanning three.

Victoria Harvey
Junior
Softball

Victoria Harvey (Green Cove Springs, Fla./Clay HS) earned the win in the circle during the Argo’s game two sweep of West Georgia, hurling a complete game while allowing just six hits and just two earned runs. Harvey also struck out three batters while not allowing a single walk in the 3-2 win.
