PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of West Florida Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced that all home athletic events this weekend have been canceled.
                                                                      
This includes Friday's women's soccer game vs. Auburn-Montgomery, Saturday's football game vs. Midwestern State and Sunday's women's soccer game vs. Montevallo.
 
Earlier Thursday night, Florida Governor Rick Scott directed all public K-12 schools, state colleges, state universities and state offices to close Friday, Sept. 8 through Monday, Sept. 11 to ensure the state has every space available for sheltering and staging. All University of West Florida locations will be closed on those dates. This includes all classes, events, campus activities and online courses.
