Bateman posted a 15-0 record in singles, including a 4-0 record in conference play … Held the best winning percentage in singles among his teammates, with a 100% in singles … The only Florida native in the starting lineup defeated 30th ranked Davor Zink from the Armstrong-Atlantic NCAA Division II National Championship squad. Rallied from a set down to comeback with a 6-4 win in the third set, and clinch the 5-4 match against Concordia (NY) in the round of 16 of the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
